Matt has been working in ELT for nearly ten years, starting as a teacher, then senior teacher and DoS at EF in Changzhou before moving into university teaching for two years at Shanghai Jiaotong University and East China Normal University with EF Academic Partnerships; he joined the Shanghai training team in October 2018.
He has taught age groups from 5 years old to professional adults and has experience teaching general, business and academic English.
Matt has a CELTA and Trinity Diploma in TESOL and is currently pursuing a distance learning PGCert in Teaching English for Academic Purposes at the University of Leicester. In his free time he likes cooking, running and swimming.
